Repairs

Most wood window situations aren’t hopeless, and generally can be repaired. Usually, if it is hopeless, its obvious. Either way, we specialize in repairing when possible and sensible. If its not repairable, we can make a new sash, jamb, or window.

The main window repairs that we do are older double hung and casement windows. We also repair fixed sash picture windows and some more modern types of windows. Newer factory windows, even though some are wood, aren’t really designed to be repaired, just replaced. Some repairs may be possible, but beyond a certain point, aren’t economical or sensible.
